It's the push and the pull, an inner landscape we create from - the life that wants for us. All in tender thought until it is ready to amplify through creation. From novels written, music composed, daily routines, whispering over old prayer, in dance. We are all creators.

This series, Creators, shares an exploration illuminating the continual cycle of humanness
and connection to self and other.

The Creators photo essay is an ongoing series, born from time around the stage on US and Canadian tours absorbed in the production of production of live music, musicianship and artistry. Together, woven with the role of managing editor, its aspects of production for a Hudson Valley magazine and the initiation that the year 2020 invited the world-at-large to, Creators emerged.

Reverence for the human spirit arrived first, the chemistry of creating next, then the resonant and ever present potency, resilience and importance of voice — in community, individual and collective.
